FBI Investigates Classified Document Discovery at Former Vice President Mike Pence’s Home

Us vice-president mike pence has been involved in the latest secret paper discovery, as classified documents have been found at his home in indiana. the documents were discovered by a lawyer last week, and have since been handed over to the fbi. special counsels are already looking into the handling of classified documents by president joe biden and ex-president donald trump, with the latter facing a criminal investigation.
the discovery of the documents at pence’s home occurred at the end of donald trump’s presidency, while the fbi came to the former vice-president’s home to collect them on friday, six more classified documents were found during a 13-hour search of president biden’s home in delaware. president biden had offered access to his home to allow the department of justice to conduct a search for potential vice-presidential records and potential classified material. moreover, a second batch of records was found on 20 december in the garage at his wilmington home, and another document was found in a storage space at the house on 12 january.
representatives for mr pence sent a letter to the national archives alerting them to the documents, and mr pence sought counsel who specialise in handling classified documents to review documents at his home. the documents were “inadvertently boxed and transported” to mr pence’s home, and the discovery of them may be related to the mishandling of files by donald trump, which is already under investigation.
