Four Generations of Family Tragically Killed in “Cartel-Like Execution” in California

Monday, four generations of one family were tragically killed in a “cartel-like execution” at a california residence known to police for drug-related activity. the victims included a 16-year-old mother, her 10-month old son, the baby’s grandmother and great-grandmother. six people tragically lost their lives in the unprovoked shooting, with three survivors able to escape the horrific scene. authorities are seeking two known suspects in the “targeted massacre”.

To forensic evidence, the killer had stood over the victims and fired at their heads from above. one survivor laid flat on the floor and held the door shut while the two other survivors were able to hide in a nearby trailer. mexican drug cartel activity in the central california area has grown in recent years, and that police are monitoring the mexico and canada border for the suspects. hundreds of items of evidence have been collected and post-mortem examinations of the victims are expected by friday.
