“World’s Most Wanted Drug Lord Extradited to Australia, Faces Life in Prison”

Most-wanted alleged drug kingpin, tse chi lop, was extradited to australia where he faces charges and life imprisonment. the syndicate he is accused of heading, the sam gor syndicate, is responsible for up to 70% of the drugs coming into australia, including methamphetamine, heroin and ketamine. australian police had been hunting him for more than a decade and took the lead in the operation to arrest him.

Arrest of tse chi lop occurred in january 2021 at amsterdam’s schiphol airport. most of the drugs smuggled by the syndicate flow into sydney and melbourne. he had been rumoured to have lived in macau, hong kong and taiwan in recent years, having previously spent nine years in prison after being arrested on drug trafficking charges in the us in the 1990s. he is due to face a local court in australia on thursday.

Kungur, involving 20 agencies from continents across the globe, was set up to arrest tse chi lop. he denied the drug charges and claimed his arrest was set up by australian authorities, attempting to appeal against his extradition. the operation was successful and tse chi lop is now facing charges and life imprisonment in australia. he has been compared to mexican drug lord el chapo.
