Rhodes plotted an armed rebellion to stop the transfer of power from Donald Trump to Mr Biden, prosecutors said.

Paragraph:

seditious conspiracy charge is a rare one, and this is the first conviction of such a charge since 1995. The event that led to the founding of the Oath Keepers by Rhodes occurred in 1954 when four nationalists from Puerto Rico fired shots onto the floor of the House of Representatives, wounding several lawmakers.
